What is Pronation?

Pronation occurs when the feet roll inwards causing the arches of the feet to gradually collapse, the knees to rotate inwards, and the pelvis to tilt forward.

Degrees of Pronation

In addition to pain in the feet, various points throughout the body including knees, hips, back, shoulders, and neck can feel the effects of this skeletal imbalance. Common injuries resulting from pronation are shin splints, plantar fasciitis, and bunions.
