DALE S. PORTER, D.C.
Dr. Porter is a summa cum laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, IA; and, an honors graduate of Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. During his time at Cornell, he competed in both Lightweight Football and wrestling where he won several All-Ivy League titles and an NCAA Division 1 Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Championship at 150 lbs. He is among an elite group of athletes inducted into the Cornell University Athletic Hall of Fame along with the Big Red’s Wrestling Hall of Distinguished Alumni. As a 1971 honors and Regents graduate of South Jefferson Central School, Adams, NY, Dr. Porter was a standout athlete competing in three sports; football, wrestling, and track. He is the first inductee into the South Jefferson Wrestling Hall of Fame and is a member of NYS Section III Wrestling Hall of Fame. Dr. Porter served for 10 years as a member and president of the South Jefferson Central School Board of Education. He is an active member of the Alexandria Bay Masonic Lodge and a member of the Watertown Elks.
Dr. Porter was born and raised on his family’s Porterdale Farms on the southern outskirts of Jefferson County. He currently resides on Clear Lake at Redwood, NY with his wife Beth. Married since 1977, they have two children and six grandchildren.
A debilitating back injury actually led him to his career as a chiropractor. After the discovery and astonishing success of chiropractic when conventional medical approaches did not alleviate his back pain, he chose to make the profession his own. Dr. Porter is continuously seeking educational opportunities learning advanced chiropractic techniques and researching the newest treatment methods available. His quest to bring the most up-to-date health care to his patients is a reflection of the dedication he brings to his profession.
KATRINA J. WYANT, D.C.
Dr. Wyant is a 2019 Honors graduate of New York Chiropractic College, Seneca Falls, NY. She also completed her Master’s degree with Honors in Social Work from Eastern Washington University in 2004 and served as a Licensed Masters Social Worker. Dr. Wyant gained experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility and providing psychotherapy at an outpatient behavioral health unit.
Dr. Wyant originally hails from Burley, Idaho. Her husband, Jason, is an Apache pilot stationed at Fort Drum and together they have two boys, Cade and Carson. While at NYCC, natural health care, such as Applied Kinesiology, Activator, and NeuroLink really captured her interest. With a combination of these natural health care methodologies and traditional Chiropractic care, Dr. Wyant intends on helping her patients obtain their optimal health.
- To provide natural health care procedures to as many people as possible with the intention of increasing the quality of patients’ lives at a reasonable cost; and without the use of drugs.
- To promote the positive effect of nutrition on health and expose the dangers and overuse of pharmaceutical drugs.
